(a) Participation Rules

- The tournament is open exclusively for DIMO | Mercedes-Benz Customers who own a Mercedes-Benz vehicle purchased and duly maintained at DIMO 800, The Mercedes-Benz Centre of Excellence

- Minimum age for participation is 18 years as at tournament date

- The acceptance/rejection of registration of participants is under sole discretion of organisers, DIMO

(b) Private Vehicle:

- Only the vehicle owner and his/her immediate family members are eligible to take part in the tournament (Except the families of children of the vehicle owner who are dependent)

- Siblings of the owner are not allowed

- The player should be the Owner-Driver of the said Mercedes-Benz vehicle

- Entry pass to the event would be, driving-in to the premises in your Mercedes-Benz. Please ensure you drive into the premises in your Mercedes-Benz to avoid any embarrassments

- You cannot nominate any other person to participate on behalf of the Owner-Driver

Owner-Driver: The individual who drives the vehicle and whom the vehicle registration is under

(c) Company Vehicle:

- The tournament is open only to corporates that have purchased & are duly maintaining their respective Mercedes-Benz vehicles at DIMO, and only one participant will be eligible to take part in the tournament under a registered vehicle

- Only the Owner-Driver of the said vehicle is eligible to participate

- Please ensure you drive into the premises in the said Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Avoid any embarrassment by attending in alternative vehicles

- You cannot nominate any other employee of the company (Eg : Any other Board Member, Top Management Executive or any other employee) to participate on behalf of the Owner-Driver to which the said vehicle is registered under

Owner-Driver: The individual whom the vehicle was purchased for by the company

(d) Competition Rules

- The competition will be on the basis of a Walking-Golf Tournament due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic

- The competition will be over 18 holes on Stableford Points; in the event of a tie, the winner will be adjudged on the basis of the best Stableford score over the back nine

- The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the rules, as laid down by Shangri-La Hambantota Golf & Country Club in adherence to the local rules which will be printed at the back of the score card which will also be briefed at the welcome cocktail on Friday, 26^th March 2021

- The players shall possess a valid handicap and shall play off their lowest club handicap

- The maximum handicap permitted will be 24

- We, the organisers and/or the golf committee, reserve full discretion at any time before or during the course of the MercedesTrophy National Final to allow or disallow any player to participate in the tournament. The organiser and/or the golf committee are not obliged to provide reasons for their decision in this regard

- Caddies will not be allowed/provided however only ball spotters will be available for ease of play during play

- We, the organisers and/or the golf committee will not hold any responsibility for any situation arising due to COVID-19 pandemic prior, during and after the tournament

The Handicap Groups are as follows:

e) Qualifications for Asian Final & World Final

- MercedesTrophy Asian Final will not take place in the current year 2021 as confirmed by Mercedes-Benz AG

- However, 3 winners out of the MercedesTrophy National Final Sri Lanka 2021 will be eligible to take part directly in the MercedesTrophy World Final Germany 2021. The MercedesTrophy World Final 2021 is scheduled for October 4 – 9, 2021. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, please note that as of now Mercedes-Benz AG is not in position to guarantee that the MercedesTrophy World Final 2021 will take place as scheduled

- Please note that the Senior Division participants can take part in the National Final, however they will not be eligible to participate in the World Final

- There is an alternate year ban applied on participation for the Asian Final participants and a lifetime ban applied on participation for the World Final participants in order to avoid repetitive participation of National Final winners in Asian Final & World Final respectively. In the event that there is a winner who has qualified to the Asian Final and had participated last year, the next in that handicap group with the highest points will qualify

(f) DIMO Sponsorships

MercedesTrophy National Final Sri Lanka 2021

- The player is entitled for a 2 Nights Stay from 26^th – 28^th March 2021 at a very special rate of 50% off at the Shangri-La Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa (50% of the total stay to be borne by the player)

- Accommodation will strictly be limited to two individuals (Including the player) on Half Board, Double basis

- Cancellation Policy: Rooms cancelled after 15 March 2021, 18:00 local time will be charged 1 Night(s) room rate

- All incidentals such as pre or post hotel stays, mini-bar, telephone calls, laundry, Spa etc. and any other expenses will be at the individual’s own expense

- Please note that any cost occurred due to No Show or Reservation cancellations after the due date mentioned above has to be borne by the player

- You are required to leave your valid credit card details on the MercedesTrophy National Final Sri Lanka 2021 Official Online Registration Form for a smooth pre-booking process of your stay at the Shangri-La Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa

MercedesTrophy World Final Germany 2021

- Airfare for the player will be sponsored by Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC (Business Class, single air ticket only)

- Accommodation is given only for the player and the player will only be sponsored for two nights

- Any other expenses occurred during the tournament will be borne by the player i.e transportation, mini bar expenses, F&B not included in the package etc

- During the visit, any cost incurred in case of any accident, illness or any grievous to the player or any damage done to property, will not be borne by DIMO

- If in any instance, the Rules & Regulations are changed by the sponsors of MercedesTrophy World Final, DIMO has the sole authority to make changes accordingly

Notes :

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Sri Lanka.

The player shall indemnify DIMO its employees and other staff or contract employees.
